The Franz Liszt Festival Enters Bratislava’s Cultural Scene Through a Partnership with the Bratislava Coronation Days<\/h1>\r\n\r\n

\r\n The newly established Franz Liszt Festival \u2013 festival3cities has become an artistic partner of one of the flagship events of the Bratislava Coronation Days.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/header>\r\n\r\n

\r\n The organisers of the Franz Liszt Festival \u2013 festival3cities have prepared the musical dramaturgy for the Coronation Concert, which will take place at St. Martin’s Cathedral on Saturday, 25 July 2026.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n

\r\n

Artistic Preparation of the Concert<\/h2>\r\n\r\n

\r\n The festival has been responsible for the concert’s complete artistic preparation \u2013 from developing its musical concept and designing the programme, to selecting the performers, coordinating rehearsals, and providing artistic supervision throughout the production.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n

\r\n The result will be a concert that thoughtfully connects Bratislava’s coronation heritage with masterpieces of European sacred music.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n

\r\n A special place in the programme is devoted to Franz Liszt and his Hungarian Coronation Mass<\/em>, a work that naturally reflects both the historical significance of St. Martin’s Cathedral and the composer’s deep ties to Bratislava.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n

\r\n The programme is further enriched by works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Louis Vierne, and Mikul\u00e1\u0161 Schneider-Trnavsk\u00fd.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\r\n
